What do we mean when we say spirituality?
Spirituality used to be the hallowed terrain of religion. But now sociologists talk about the ‘spiritual but not religious’; neuroscientists study spiritual experiences; religions (at their best) guide people on spiritual quests; psychologists study the effects of spiritual practices on well-being. Yet the term remains vague.
This website is for others, like myself, who think there is something to spirituality but want to explore the terrain without supernatural baggage. This site is my attempt to understand what spirituality is by drawing from and comparing resources from science and religion.
